Director of Bac Giang provincial DoCST Truong Quang Hai said: “Bac Giang has more than 2,000 historical and cultural relic sites, over 900 of which were recognized. They are precious cultural resources for tourism development. To create cultural experimental tourism product, the cultural staff, local people and experts in SGO Travel have conducted survey and several field trips to research and build products with deep cultural value that meet demand for each group of visitors”.

Hanoi – Bac Giang cultural tour features 7 cultural tourism products under diverse themes. Notably, the core product of one day tour named “Hanoi – Tay Yen Tu: Follow the footprint of Buddha Emperor” attracted numerous domestic and foreign visitors early this year.

The program takes visitors to experience an emotional historical journey on the "path to propagate the Buddhism” of King Tran Nhan Tong and his disciples more than 700 years ago. This is a meaningful pilgrimage path to the holy land of the Truc Lam sect.

The program departs at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, passes through Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and finally comes to the sacred peak of Yen Tu. Especially, at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda - which is also the storage of more than 3,050 woodblocks from the 16-19 century, visitors will learn about one of the cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO and experience woodblock printing experience.
