Bac Giang holds conference on technology transfer and supply-demand connection

BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (PUSTA) and Vietnam-Korea College of Technology (VKTech) jointly held a conference on transfer of advanced processing technology and supply and demand connection on December 10.

Bac Giang is a destination for many domestic and international investors. According to the master plan for the northern midlands and mountainous region in 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho provinces are targeted to become high-qualified mechanical and electronic centers.

Particularly, Bac Giang will strive to become a center for semi-conductor production and supporting industries, which is a good condition for Bac Giang to develop industrial sector, particularly mechanism.

VKTech is training mechanics major at college and vocational levels for 180 students per year.

A representative of Makino Vietnam Company Limited introduces some technologies at the conference.

At the conference, the experts and lecturers shared about some advanced mechanical processing technologies and solutions to improve human resource training quality and technology transfer in mechanical processing.

The conference is a good opportunity for introduction and transfer of some advanced technologies in mechanical processing and promoting supply and demand connection between the college and businesses, among businesses and the association of mechanical industries under the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations.

It helps to enhance teachers’ capacity and training quality, contributing to creating high-quality resources for the province.
