These events attracted more than 21,600 participants who donated 28,222 units of safe blood in line with the standards of the Ministry of Health (an increase of 890 units of blood compared to 2023), reaching 166.1% of the annual plan assigned by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

Provincial civil servants and public employees donate the blood.

Many units achieved high results such as: Viet Yen township (3,891 units), Luc Ngan district (3,385 units) and Luc Nam district (2,616 units) among others.

The above results were achieved thanks to the close coordination of the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation with departments, branches and localities to enhance propaganda and mobilize all classes of people so as to promote the tradition of mutual love; timely honor and praise exemplary individuals, families and groups participating the movement.

By 2025, the whole province strives to propagate and mobilize more than 25,000 people to register for donate blood and receive about 22,000 blood units as assigned by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

BAC GIANG - In 2023, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) in Bac Giang province has coordinated with organizations, agencies, units and schools in the province to organize 36 Blood Donation Festivals, attracting more than 21,000 participants and receiving more than 27,000 units of safe blood (nearly 4,800 units higher than in 2022), reaching 170 percent of the plan assigned by the Center.
