The MoET selected 37 students for 5 teams: International Math Olympiad (6 students); Asian Physics Olympiad (8 students); International Chemistry Olympiad (4 students); International Biology Olympiad (4 students); Asia Pacific Informatics Olympiad (15 students).

3 students are selected from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, including 12th graders Than The Cong and Truong Phi Hung of Physics class for the Asian Physics Olympic team; 12th grader Giap Vu Son Ha of Chemistry class for the International Chemistry Olympiad team.

Giap Vu Son Ha had the highest score in the exam to select members for the International Chemistry Olympiad team while Than The Cong had the second highest score in the exam to select member for Asian Physics Olympiad team.

Bac Giang is one of 13 provinces and cities across the country with students selected to the national team to compete in the 2024 international and regional Olympiads.

According to the plan, the Asian Physics Olympiad and the Asia Pacific Informatics Olympiad will take place in May 2024. The International Mathematics Olympiad, International Chemistry Olympiad and International Biology Olympiad are expected to take place in July and August 2024.
