Bac Giang businesses need to recruit 22,000 labourers in first quarter

BAC GIANG - On January 29, Bac Giang Provincial Employment Service Center (ESC) organized an online job transaction session connecting labor supply and demand with 13 provinces and cities nationwide.

The event was attended by 30 enterprises in provinces and cities to recruit workers in the fields of garment, electronics and solar energy together with about 310 people applying in person and 380 people applying online.

The staff of the Provincial Employment Service Center supports workers with online interviews.

Employees were informed by business representatives about their needs, recruitment conditions, positions and working hours, salary and wage regimes while interviewed about their qualifications, skills and job expectation.

At the Bac Giang point, FUKANG Company Limited belonging to Foxconn Technology Group in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen township said the company needs to recruit 1,300 workers on Lunar New Year to urgently complete new orders and about 5,000 people more in the first quarter of this year due to business development. After being recruited, workers will work 6 days per week with a total income of more than 9 million VND per person per month including salary, allowances, food and accommodation support.

This was the first online job transaction session in Bac Giang province in 2024.

According to the Provincial Employment Service Center, in the first quarter, businesses need to recruit about 22,000 workers in the fields of electricity, electronics, industrial electricity, garments, footwear and solar energy.

The big employers include Luxshare-ICT Company Limited, New Wing Interconnect Technology Company Limited and Foxconn Technology Group...
