Launching the contest, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations Ngo Chi Vinh said the contest is co hosted by the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and other units.

It aimed to promote the research movement and spread the love for robotics and programming among teenagers. This year contest themed "Exploring Bac Giang tourism" also targeted to widely introduce and promote the image of Bac Giang land and people.

The contest is organized for teenagers at the ages of 9 to 18 studying and living in the province from April to September 2024. The contestants are divided into 3 groups: Group A (from grades 3 to 5); Group B (from grade 6 to grade 9); Group C (from grade 10 to grade 12).

The prize structure includes 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 9 third prizes and 12 consolation prizes with total prize value of 135 million VND. Along with the cash reward, the prize winners will be awarded certificates and insignia by the Organizing Committee.

The competition takes place in 2 rounds. The qualifying round is held online to select the 16 best teams of each group to enter the final round which will be launched in an offline format to select and award prizes to the first, second, third and consolation teams of each group.
