The issuance of free reading cards inspires more readers, helping develop and spread the reading culture. This is also an activity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Provincial Library's establishment on April 10 (1964-2024).

In 2023, the Provincial Library issued nearly 2,300 reading cards, an increase of 25 percent year on year, including more than 700 free cards for readers.

Currently, the unit stores nearly 200,000 copies of books and documents and more than 30,000 books circulated in districts, township and city.

Along with regularly adding new and attractive books, the Provincial Library pays attention to investing in facilities and purchasing equipment to meet operational requirements.

On this occasion, the Library coordinates with relevant sectors and agencies to mobilize socialization resources to donate about 2,000 books to school and community libraries in the province.

Also, the unit carefully prepares facilities and organizes free reading space on-site to serve readers when attending events to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day.
