Da Nang, Nha Trang most loved by South Korean tourists
The central beach city of Da Nang is the top destination of South Korean tourists in Vietnam, followed by Nha Trang and Hoi An, online travel platform Agoda said.
Two other destinations in the top five were Phu Quoc Island and Ho Chi Minh City.

To compile the list, Agoda analyzed booking data of South Korean tourists between January 1 and March 31.
Lam Vu, country director at Agoda, said it was unsurprising that beaches attract global visitors.
Da Nang and Nha Trang are popular beach cities in central Vietnam while Hoi An is home to An Bang, voted one of Asia's most beautiful beaches by Tripadvisor readers.
Located along the southern coast, Phu Quoc is famous for its long, sandy beaches that attract a large number of international visitors during the peak tourism season.
South Korea was the biggest source of visitors to Vietnam in the first quarter with over 1.2 million arrivals.
A series of South Korean celebrities have also flocked to Nha Trang and Hoi An, boosting Vietnam’s profile on global tourism map.
The tourism sector is striving to maintain the growth momentum recorded in the first quarter to so as to fulfil the target of serving 18 million foreign visitors this year, given a full recovery in most of Vietnam’s markets.
BAC GIANG - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first quarter, the northern province of Bac Giang welcomed nearly 1.5 million tourist arrivals, up 20% year on year.
The 2024 Hanoi Tourism Festival, themed “Thang Long – Ha Noi, Thu do quyen ru” (Thang Long – Hanoi, a charming capital) will be held from April 25-28 at the city’s Thong Nhat Park, with diverse activities.
Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi ranked sixth in a ranking of 20 airports with the best wifi service in the world, surpassing Singapore's Changi Airport and South Korea's Seoul Incheon Airport.
Dien Bien Airport, in the Northern province of Dien Bien, has welcomed more than 900 flights with increasing numbers of passengers in the four months since reopening operations.
