Den and Hoa Minzy honoured as singers of the year

The winners of the 18th Devotion Awards 2024 were officially announced and honoured at a ceremony held in Hanoi on March 27.

This is the second time the Devotion Awards have beenpresented to winners in the field of sports, with two award systems including the Devotion Music and Devotion Sports awards.

The 18th Devotion Awards featured the participation of various artists, athletes, coaches, and guests.

Singers Den and Hoa Minzy were honoured as the Male and Female Singers of the Year, respectively. In addition, Den and his crew also won the Best Music Video of the Year Award for their music video “Nau an cho em” (Meals for underprivileged children).

This year, singer Do Bao’s live concert “Do Bao & Friends”bagged the Programme of the Year Award.

The success of ‘A Loi’ once again proves the attraction of the combination between folk elements and contemporary musicfor musicians and producers.

Singer Den receives the Male Singer of the Year Award.

The Musician of the Year Prize went to Hua Kim Tuyen, music producer for singer Van Mai Huong’s album “Minh tinh” (The Actress).

This album helped Van Mai Huong win the Album of the Year Award.

The 2024 Devotion Awards marked the third time the DTAP team bagged the Producer of the Year prize, following the 2020 and 2023 seasons.

The series “Vietnam Idol 2023” was honoured in the Programme Series of the Year category.

In the sport categories, the Sports Achievement of the Year Award went to the national women's volleyball team, which has been included in the top four in Asia for the first time.

The title of the Sport Figure of the Year was given to swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang who secured a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics, two bronze medals at ASIAD 19, and three golds and one bronze at SEA Games 32.

Meanwhile, sepak takraw athlete Tran Thi Ngoc Yensurpassed many other strong nominees to win the Young Athlete of the Year Award.

The first-ever ‘Aspiration for Devotion’ title was presented tothe children’s football centre VietGoal, which is founded and run by Nguyen Hoai Nam.
