Use of e-invoices generated from cash registers expanded

Updated: 19:16, 23/04/2024

BAC GIANG - After more than a year of implementing electronic invoices generated from cash registers with tax authority codes under the direction of the Tax sector, up to now, many enterprises and business households in Bac Giang province have issued this type of invoice when providing goods and services, thereby, contributing to strict management of tax collection and promoting administrative procedure reform.

Implementing the Law on Tax Administration and the Government's decrees, since July 1, 2022, all companies and business households operating in the field of direct retail of goods have used e-invoices.

Co.opmart Bac Giang supermarket issues electronic invoices created from the cash register to customers.

By the end of 2022, the Tax sector continued to deploy the use of electronic invoices generated from cash registers to support people and businesses in using them quickly and conveniently as well as improve management efficiency and prevent tax loss in the retail sector.

This e-Invoice applies to enterprises and business households that pay taxes according to the declaration method and have a direct retail model to consumers such as: Catering business groups, restaurants, hotels; commodity retail group (shopping malls, supermarkets, consumer goods retail); modern medicine retail group and others. Invoices are connected to tax authorities to manage the seller's actual revenue.

Implementing the above regulations, so far, 80 enterprises and business households in Bac Giang province have used e-invoices created from cash registers after each sale and service provision with a total of nearly 700,000 invoices.
