Vietnam’s Hue city named among top Asian destinations as per affordability in April and May: Agoda
Vietnam’s Hue city has been named among Asia’s cheapest destinations for April and May, in terms of affordable accommodation rates, according to digital travel booking platform Agoda.
In is recent press statement, Agoda says that among Asian markets, the destinations offering the lowest average accommodation rates include Udon Thani in Thailand, Surabaya in Indonesia, Hue in Vietnam, Kuching in Malaysia, Iloilo in the Philippines, Narita in Japan, and Kaohsiung in Taiwan (China).

According to Agoda, with an average room rate of 43 USD, Hue is a truly a must-visit destination in Vietnam.
Located in central Vietnam, Hue is a city steeped in history and culture, serving as the former imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945).
The city is renowned for its historic monuments, including the Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its majestic palaces and temples.
The Huong (Perfume) River flows through the city, adding to its picturesque charm, and visitors can take a boat cruise to enjoy views of the surrounding architecture.
The tourism sector is striving to maintain the growth momentum recorded in the first quarter to so as to fulfil the target of serving 18 million foreign visitors this year, given a full recovery in most of Vietnam’s markets.
BAC GIANG - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first quarter, the northern province of Bac Giang welcomed nearly 1.5 million tourist arrivals, up 20% year on year.
