Xuan Bieu communal house recognized as special national relic

(BGO)- The people’s committee of Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province on September 27 organised a ceremony to inaugurate the project of Xuan Bieu communal house in Xuan Cam commune and receive the certificate recognizing the Safety Zone II (ATK II) as special national relic.   

Xuan Bieu, an ancient communal house, has been built for a very long time on the bank of northern Cau river in Xuan Bieu village, Xuan Cam commune. The communal house worships Cao Son – Quy Minh and Saint Tam Giang who defeated the invaders to protect the nation. It not only has ancient architecture but also preserves many precious and valuable documents and materials for historical and cultural research.

The communal house was ranked as national historical and cultural relic in 1994 and it was upgraded into special national relic in 2020.

Xuan Bieu communal house has been embellished and improved since December 10, 2021 with total budget of more than 11.1 billion VND (465,272 USD). After nearly 1 year under construction, the communal house was completed on September 7, 2022 and brought into use.

Speaking at the event, Hoang Cong Bo, deputy secretary of the district party committee, Chairman of the district people’s committee stressed, Bac Giang province and Hiep Hoa district have spent great resources for Xuan Cam commune and other communes of Safety Zone.

The special national relic of Xuan Bieu communal house was renovated and inaugurated at the same time with the commemorative site where Uncle Ho visited in Cam Xuyen village, which become red addresses to educate patriotism, sense of solidarity, national pride and aspiration to build prosperous homeland.
