52 billion VND invested in 9 infrastructure projects
BAC GIANG - According to the People's Committee of Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province), this year, the locality invested 52 billion VND (2.18 million USD) from the district budget to start construction, renovate and upgrade 9 projects in the fields of traffic, schools and dikes.
They include projects to construct new multi-purpose buildings for the following schools: My Thai Secondary School, Tien Luc Secondary School, Huong Son Secondary School; renovate and upgrade a number of schools; renovate and repair the frontage road from the Western Urban Area of Voi town to the Voi town Health Station; renovate and repair provincial road 295 to Vien Son communal house, Tien Luc commune; handle and upgrade culverts and dikes in Dinh village, Tien Luc commune; maintain the urban infrastructure and environmental landscape in the district; install street and house name signs.

The Lang Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Board is urgently completing investment procedures and selecting contractors to start construction of the above projects in the second quarter of this year, to soon complete, put into use, and promote efficiency.

BAC GIANG - On February 10, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 258/QD-TTg on the investment policy for the project to invest in infrastructure of Dong Phuc Industrial Park in Bac Giang province.
The manufacturing and processing industry dominated foreign investment, attracting over 3.09 billion USD, equivalent to nearly 71.3% of total investment and showing a remarkable 99.1% increase year-on-year.
