The tournament was jointly organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration, Vietnam Shuttlecock Federation and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The event was participated by more than 200 athletes, from 13 delegations across the country. The athletes competed for 9 sets of medals in 9 categories of Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team, men's team of 4 and women's team of 4.

This year's tournament gathered many outstanding athletes from strong delegations such as Dong Thap, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Yen Bai, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue... 14 athletes from Bac Giang delegation competed in 8 out of 9 events.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 9 sets of medals in 9 contents to the athletes. Bac Giang delegation won 3 gold medals, 2 bronze medals and secured second overall ranking.

3 gold medals belonged to Dang Hong Hiep, Hoang Viet Tiep (men's doubles); Phung Manh Tu, Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen (mixed doubles); Phung Manh Tu, Dang Hong Hiep, Hoang Viet Tiep. This result helped Bac Giang win second place in the overall ranking table. Dong Thap delegation with 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals ranked first while Ho Chi Minh City delegation ranked third with 1 gold medal and 5 silver medals.

The competition results are the basis for the Vietnam Shuttlecock Federation to select athletes to practice and prepare for 2024 Asian Shuttlecock Championship to be held in Thua Thien-Hue province.
