Speaking at the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son thanked for the attention by Lang Son province in facilitating labourers from Lang Son to work in the industrial parks in Bac Giang province.

Besides, he gave brief introduction about socio-economic situation of Bac Giang province, production and business conditions of enterprises, the demand for recruitment of workers and policies for labourers provided by businesses in the province.

Currently, a number of big enterprises in Bac Giang province are seeking for over 100,000 workers in 2024 to expand their production and business when some companies have big demand for workers.

In coming time, in order to create more jobs, stabilize labourers’ living and facilitate labourers from other localities to come to Bac Giang for work while ensuring labour supply for enterprises in the province, Bac Giang has provided some solutions in human resource training and paid attention to building social houses and dormitories for workers.

On the same day, another delegation of Bac Giang province led by Le O Pich, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee paid a working visit to the People’s Committee of Son La province on collaboration to organize promotional activities to attract labourers to work in businesses in Bac Giang province. The delegation was received by Trang Thi Xuan, permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Son La province.

More than 6,300 labourers from Son La have worked in Bac Giang in the first 2 months 2024 with an average salary of 7 million VND (283 USD) per month.

At the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Le O Pich informed about socio-economic development of Bac Giang province in recent years. Besides, he requested the People’s Committee of Son La province to direct competent agencies and district and communal level people’s committees to closely collaborate with agencies and businesses of Bac Giang province in communication and recruitment of workers to work for businesses in Bac Giang province. 

The communication and press agencies of Son La province were requested to join hands with Bac Giang News Paper and Bac Giang Voice and Television to communicate on employment demand, recruitment conditions, remuneration policies and job vacancies of businesses in Bac Giang province.

Over 2.6 million USD to support Hanoi needy labourers on Tet occasion

The Hanoi Federation of Labour plans to provide support for over 115,000 trade unionists and labourers living in difficult circumstances in the city on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, with a total amount of 65 billion VND (2.65 million USD), according to the federation’s Chairman Pham Quang Thanh.

BAC GIANG- The Provincial Confederation of Labour has signed cooperation agreements on social welfare programmes for trade union members and labourers with 5 partners in Hanoi including Bell Duc Company Limited, Hogi Group International Trade Joint Stock Company, Minh Phuc ASIA Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Tre Viet Clinic belonging to Hai Nam Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Join Stock Company and Vietnam Association of Household Ceramics.
