The capital city of Hanoi welcomed an average of 15,000 visitors each day, who mainly visited Hoan Kiem Lake, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), Thang Long Imperial Citadel, walking streets, water parks, and commercial centres.

Hong Bang Street, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, is decorated with flags to celebrate National Reunification Day.

In Ho Chi Minh City, an art programme was held at Nguyen Hue walking street on the night of April 29 to mark the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, attracting numerous visitors. In particular, fireworks will be set off in five locations throughout the city on the night of April 30.

In Quang Ninh Province, more than 51,700 tourists visited Ha Long Bay, including over 19,700 foreign visitors.

Da Nang is expected to welcome 340,000 visitors during this holiday, up 5% over the same period last year.

Khanh Hoa Province also received many tourists to the islands, Ponagar Temple, International Jazz Festival-Nha Trang, and others.

Thanks to the cool climate, Da Lat is estimated to welcome 200,000 visitors during this holiday, according to Tran Thanh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong Province.
