Bac Giang supports packaging and labels for OCOP products
BAC GIANG - Bac Giang province has recently focused on directing departments, sectors and organizations to coordinate with localities to support businesses, cooperatives and people in designing and completing packaging, labels and traceability stamps for products, especially key and typical products participating in the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP).
88 enterprises and cooperatives have been supported in designing, improving, upgrading, printing packaging and labels with a total quantity of nearly 400,000 packages (paper bags, cardboard boxes...), 7.5 tonnes of heat-resistant PP bags and nearly 750,000 traceability stamps since 2019.

The total cost of implementation hits over 6 billion VND (over 258,600 USD) (of which, the State budget supports 3 billion VND and the rest is funded by enterprises and cooperatives). Most of the packaging and labels have eye catching and convenient designs, that fully display the products’ information.
Thereby, it helps increase product value, improve competitiveness in the market, gradually move towards export, raise income for workers and actively contribute to the new style rural building movement.
After 5 years of implementation, the "One Commune, One Product" (OCOP) programme has been comprehensively and widely carried out in all localities across the country. It is considered a crucial solution and task in executing the National Target Programme for building new-style rural areas during the 2021-2025 period.

BAC GIANG - Participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, many products are empowered and obtain a place on the market, helping rural people increase their income. Moreover, OCOP products also contribute to preserving and spreading traditional local culture in Bac Giang province.
BAC GIANG - Son Dong district is accompanying producers for at least 20 One Commune One Product (OCOP) products rated 3 stars or higher bearing the characteristics of a highland region by the end of this year.
BAC GIANG – Various products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) are under display at an ongoing event held in the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Son Tay town (Hanoi City) from July 4 to 8. The event also introduce the culture of the Red River Delta provinces. Bac Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development displays a booth to introduce the typical OCOP products.
BAC GIANG - The online technology and equipment trading platform in Bac Giang province (www.batex.vn) is operating effectively. This is a tool for members to introduce, buy and sell technology, equipment and other products.
BAC GIANG - Luc Ngan lychee of the Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Services Cooperative in Luc Ngan district has been recognised as a 5-star One Commune One Product (OCOP) item at national level, becoming the first and only product in the province obtaining this status.
