Bac Giang accelerates site clearance for Cam Ly bridge and railway overpass project
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of April 2, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Phan The Tuan inspected the progress and results of land clearance compensation and resettlement at the construction site of the new Cam Ly bridge and the railway overpass on the Kep - Ha Long railway line.
The project is invested by the Railway Project Management Board, with a total cost of nearly 800 billion VND (over 34 million USD) from increased revenue and savings on regular expenditures of the central budget.

Recently, contractors have focused on mobilizing means and human resources to strengthen the construction teams. So far, the contractor has completed a number of bored piles and constructed a number of pier bases; excavated the organic soil layer among others.
Through the actual inspection and listening to the report, the PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan acknowledged the initial results in the site clearance and the construction progress of the investor.

He emphasized that the construction of the new Cam Ly bridge and the railway overpass on the Kep - Ha Long railway line aims to strengthen connectivity, improve exploitation capacity, ensure traffic safety and meet the transportation needs of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Hai Duong to localities in the key economic region of the North.
At the same time, the project helps promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security. Therefore, he requested Luc Nam district to further well conduct the communication, create consensus from the people to speed up the site clearance progress.
