Spanning 67 hectares, the logistics hub has an investment of nearly 4.2 trillion VND (182.4 million USD). It includes multifunctional warehouses, bonded warehouses, non-tariff storage, e-commerce warehousing and automated storage, integrated with end-to-end logistics solutions and cutting-edge hub models (including one-stop e-commerce and agri-export-import hubs).

The center’s inauguration marks a pivotal moment for Bac Giang, creating new development opportunities and streamlining import-export and trade activities for local businesses.

PPC Chairman Nguyen Viet Oanh emphasized Bac Giang’s strategic location in the North East of Hanoi capital — a vital link between key economic zones, adjacent to major highways such as Hanoi – Lang Son expressway as well as international railways and near key border gates and seaports.

From 2020 to 2024, the province's economy grew at an average annual rate of over 14%, with its economic scale ranking 12th nationwide and leading among midland and mountainous provinces.

The local infrastructure — including transport, urban areas, industrial parks and social services — has been comprehensively developed.

The logistics center is a strategic milestone, demonstrating the province’s strong commitment to building modern logistics infrastructure, driving trade and industry, and accelerating international integration.

With its launch, Bac Giang joins the ranks of northern Vietnam's premier logistics hubs, unlocking its potential in logistics — a sector often described as the "lifeblood" of the economy — and boosting competitiveness and socio-economic growth.
