Provincial leader urges to remove obstacles, speed up site clearance progress for industrial parks
BAC GIANG- Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Van Thinh on April 15 inspected land clearance in Phuc Son industrial park (Tan Yen district), Yen Lu and expanded Yen Lu industrial parks (Bac Giang city).
Infrastructure of Phuc Son industrial park (IP) project is invested by Le Delta Joint Stock Company, which is located in Lam Son commune, Tan Yen district covering 123.94 hectares. Of which, phase 1 covers 70 hectares and phase 2 is 53.94 hectares. The total investment is some 1.83 trillion VND (70.5 million USD).

To date, the project has been completed land clearance for 56.1 out of 70 hectares in phase 1. The land clearance process still poses obstacles.
Yen Lu IP project covers an area of 377 hectares, located in Yen Lu commune. Capella Real Estate Joint Stock Company is the infrastructure investor and developer.
The total investment capital for the project is over 2.69 trillion VND (103.6 million USD), of which nearly 404 billion VND (15.6 million USD) is contributed by the investor while the remaining being mobilized capital.
To date, the people's committee of Bac Giang city has cleared approximately 359.3 out of 377 hectares of land and converted over 343 hectares for project use.
Yen Lu IP expansion project is located in Yen Lu commune, using a land area of 119.83 hectares. The project is developed by Western Pacific Investment Joint Stock Company, which is responsible for infrastructure construction.
The total investment capital for the project is over 1.54 trillion VND (59.3 million USD), of which more than 308 billion VND (11.86 million USD) is contributed by the investor and the remaining is mobilized capital.
In phase 1, the local authorities have completed land clearance for 70 hectares. Land ownership has been fully verified in all 8 villages. The people’s committee of Bac Giang city is currently carrying out land declaration, measurement, inventory and verification of land origins for households to prepare for compensation plans.

After the inspection and listening to the report, PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh requested the people’s committees of Tan Yen district and Bac Giang city to highly concentrate on resolving obstacles and bottle necks to complete land clearance for the projects on schedule.
He urged the investors of the 3 industrial parks to quickly collaborate with related departments, agencies and people’s committee of the districts and city to pay timely compensation for land clearance.
Besides, they were asked to speed up construction of the technical infrastructure items on the land areas that have been allocated and granted construction permits to provide clean land sites to attract secondary investors to the IPs, thereby contributing to the province’s economic growth.
