Bac Giang enhances service quality in industrial parks

Updated: 17:11, 14/04/2025

BAC GIANG - Identifying industrial development as a strategic priority, Bac Giang Province has not only accelerated infrastructure investment and introduced various preferential policies but also focused on enhancing service quality within local industrial parks. These efforts aim to create favorable conditions for businesses, meet the needs of laborers and boost the province’s investment attraction.

Currently, Bac Giang is home to 16 industrial parks that have received investment approval from the Prime Minister. These parks cover a planned area of nearly 3,684 hectares, including over 2,451 hectares of industrial land and 88.67 hectares for administrative and service-related purposes.

The 110 kV Quang Chau 2 substation supplies electricity to enterprises operating in the Quang Chau Industrial Park.

Of these, eight industrial parks enter operational stage, namely: Van Trung, Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Vietnam Korea, Song Khe - Noi Hoang, Hoa Phu, Tan Hung and Yen Lu.

A wide range of services such as supply of electricity, clean water, telecommunications, wastewater treatment, finance and banking have attracted strong investment.

All operational industrial parks are equipped with centralized wastewater treatment plants, offering a total daily capacity of approximately 90,200 cubic meters. The treated water meets environmental standards and is monitored via automated systems before being discharged.

Electricity supply remains stable, with most industrial parks connected to 110kV substations drawing power directly from the national grid, reported the Bac Giang Power Company.

Supporting infrastructure including lighting systems, traffic signs, speed bumps, green spaces and parking lots has been increasingly improved and synchronized.

In addition, banks and credit institutions have established transaction offices and ATMs both within and around the industrial parks. Many companies have developed on-site canteens and mini-supermarkets for employees.

Some businesses have even invested in building worker housing in Van Trung industrial parks and commercial-service complexes in Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial park to better serve the growing workforce.

According to Tran Thuy Thi Quynh, a representative of Van Dinh Technology Company Limited in Vietnam Korea Industrial Park, her company chose Bac Giang for its strategic location, excellent transport connectivity and investor-friendly policies.

She expressed confidence that the province would continue to expand its industrial infrastructure and enrich its service ecosystem to create the most favorable environment for investors.

Bac Giang aims to position itself as one of the region’s key industrial centers by 2030. To this end, local authorities are prioritizing the removal of procedural bottlenecks, accelerating land clearance and developing a transparent, fair and investor-friendly business environment.

The infrastructure developers are also being urged to address shortcomings and continuously enhance the quality of their services.

Provincial leaders are actively working with relevant departments, the Industrial Park Management Board and infrastructure developers to monitor progress, resolve difficulties, and provide timely support. These measures are intended to ensure Bac Giang’s industrial sector grows in a more specialized, modern and sustainable direction.
