358 billion VND bridge to open connecting Bac Giang and Bac Ninh
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh has officially announced plans for the inauguration ceremony of the Ha Bac 2 Bridge and its paths, a vital transport project linking Bac Giang and Bac Ninh Provinces.
The event is being organized in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

As part of the preparations, the Chairman of Bac Ninh People's Committee has tasked the Department of Construction to cooperate with the Management Board of civil projects and urban development to inspect and expedite the path completion.
The department will work in close collaboration with Bac Giang's Department of Construction and other relevant agencies to ensure timely delivery.
The Department of Construction has also been assigned to propose a detailed plan for the inauguration ceremony, tentatively set for April 26, 2025. The plan will be submitted to the People's Committees of both Bac Ninh and Bac Giang for approval before April 15, 2025.
The Ha Bac 2 Bridge and paths construction project is designed to enhance regional connectivity, linking Branch Road 2 of Ring Road IV in Bac Giang with Yen Phong Industrial Park and National Highway 18 in Bac Ninh.
The project boasts a total investment exceeding 358 billion VND (15.5 million USD) and stretches approximately 2 km. The Bac Giang section covers around 1.3 km, the bridge structure itself spans nearly 500 meters, while the Bac Ninh section extends over 101 meters.
The starting point of the project is located at Km0+00, intersecting Ring Road IV at Km11+00, in Dong Lo Commune, Hiep Hoa District, Bac Giang Province. The endpoint is at Km2+00 in Dung Liet Commune, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province, connecting to the 277B provincial road construction project.
Once completed, the project is expected to significantly improve interprovincial traffic flow and foster economic growth for both Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
