Three facilities in Bac Giang granted with "CoopStar Awards" in 2025
BAC GIANG - The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has just granted “CoopStar Awards” in 2025 to 100 outstanding cooperatives nationwide, including three facilities in Bac Giang province.
They are Lua Vang Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative in Canh Thuy Ward (Bac Giang City); Nam The Chu Noodle Production and Consumption Cooperative in Nam Duong Commune (Chu Township); Tan Dinh People's Credit Fund in Tan Dinh Commune (Lang Giang District).

All units are prominent with effective production and business activities; actively contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Lua Vang Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative operates in various fields of raising, buying and selling livestock and poultry; producing and trading animal feed; trading agricultural materials and veterinary medicine.
On average, each year, the Cooperative raises about 55,000 livestock and poultry; produces and trades nearly 1,500 tonnes of animal feed..., earning a profit of 7-10 billion VND.
Nam The Chu Noodle Production and Consumption Cooperative currently has more than 40 official members, 155 regular workers and dozens of seasonal workers with average income from 8-10 million VND per person per month.
Each month, the facility produces 60-70 tonnes of noodles. The cooperative actively participates in the new rural construction movement and social security activities.

Tan Dinh People's Credit Fund operates under the motto of sustainable, safe and effective development. Up to now, the Fund has more than 1,600 members with a total operating capital of more than 325 billion VND. The total outstanding loans for people to develop production and business are more than 280 billion VND with no bad debt.
The CoopStar Awards honors cooperatives that have made great efforts to overcome difficulties; achieved outstanding results in production and business development and made many contributions to society. This is the second year the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has organized this award.
BAC GIANG – The Provincial Federation of Labor and the Department of Health on February 19 held a ceremony at the headquarters of the Provincial Federation of Labor to ink a cooperative programme between two units on health care for union members and laborers of Bac Giang province during 2025-2030 period.
BAC GIANG - Currently, the cooperatives in the northern province of Bac Giang have paid due attention to expanding facilities to introduce, display and sell products so as to meet the goal of promoting and bringing quality products closer to consumers, thereby connecting tourism development and spreading the image of Bac Giang.
BAC GIANG - On December 20, the Cooperative Alliance of Bac Giang province organized a conference to connect and support cooperatives in promoting products at points of introduction and consumption of products under Once Commune One Product programmes (OCOP) and regional signature produce.
BAC GIANG - The Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Phan The Tuan cum Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Collective Economic Development on December 12 chaired a meeting and dialogue with cooperatives in 2024.
The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance held a ceremony on the evening of December 11 to present the first Mai An Tiem Awards (Coop Gold Product Awards 2024) for exemplary cooperative products at the Army Theatre in Hanoi and launched the Action Month for Cooperatives and the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
BAC GIANG - In 2024, Bac Giang province has 82 newly established cooperatives (reaching 102.5% of the plan), including 67 agricultural cooperatives and 15 non-agricultural cooperatives.
BAC GIANG - The cooperatives in northern province of Bac Giang have transformed towards multiple industries and services, contributing to promoting the potentials and advantages of the locality, increasing income of their members and stimulating socio-economic development.
