This year, lychee output is forecast to be high, so in order to proactively bring lychee to many new markets, the Department of Industry and Trade has advised on preparing conditions, coordinating promotion and advertising at some famous domestic tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc among others.
Tran Trong Nguyen, CEO of Mova Plus Joint Stock Company (a company specializing in exporting agricultural products) informed that after about 20 years of researching the European market, the company realized that Vietnamese lychees in general and Bac Giang lychees in particular have won the hearts of European consumers.
Therefore, in this year's lychee crop, the company plans to bring 500 tonnes of lychees to this market, then gradually increase and strive to reach about 3,000 tonnes by 2030.
To promote this lychee crop, the company has developed a working plan with the Embassy, Counselor and Trade Office of Vietnam in Europe (Germany, France, Belgium, ...); organized distribution channels and sales systems in Europe to prepare for the event to promote and advertise lychees in this region in early June 2025.
To synchronously and smoothly conduct trade promotion, Nguyen suggested the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to pay attention to coordinating and participating in promotion activities and advertising Bac Giang lychee in some European countries; support transportation costs for fresh lychee to reduce costs and increase competitiveness.
Recently, during a meeting with the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Province (China), the Department of Industry and Trade also suggested Guangxi side to create favorable conditions for the consumption of Bac Giang lychees.
Along with the proactive promotion of functional agencies and local authorities, gardeners also focus on taking care of lychees to ensure quality.

Therefore, the products analyzed for quality before export always meet the indicators".
Up to now, 5 businesses have cooperated with people in Phuc Hoa commune to export lychees to markets such as the US, Europe, China and Japan this year.
These days, in concentrated lychee production areas such as Hong Giang ward, Quy Son commune, Thanh Hai (Chu town) or Giap Son commune, Tan Moc commune (Luc Ngan), people also focus on taking care of the crop to achieve good quality and beautiful appearance.
