In the second set, as their stamina waned, the Russian team capitalised on their height advantage to effectively attack from both wings and the centre of the net, leading to a 15-25 defeat for the Vietnamese players.
In the third set, the Russian team continued to showcase their superiority, frequently leading by a wide margin and winning 25-15, securing a 3-0 overall victory and the championship title.
Although the Vietnamese team could not claim the championship, the tournament provided valuable experience, especially for the younger players, who gained important lessons in both tactics and playing techniques.
Earlier, the Vietnam women's volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory against the Express Club from the Republic of Korea (RoK) in the semifinals. This was the second competition between the two teams in the tournament, with the Vietnamese women having previously achieved a hard-fought 3-2 win in the group stage.
As the runners-up, the Vietnam women's volleyball team was awarded 7,000 USD.
In addition to the championship title and a 12,000 USD prize, Korabelka Club's middle blocker Palshina Elizaveta was voted as the beauty queen of the tournament.
