At the Q&A session, the provincial People's Council members questioned 21 issues, which were directly answered by directors and heads of departments and agencies.

With high consensus, the session passed 33 important resolutions, including one on personnel work and 32 on socio-economic development.

In her closing speech, Thanh affirmed that with a high determination, great efforts, drastic and effective actions, the provincial People's Council highly agreed with the general goals, 18 targets, 12 main tasks and solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2025 as proposed by the provincial People's Committee.

She also emphasized a number of key tasks that need to be implemented immediately, including thoroughly grasping and seriously, promptly, and effectively implementing the leadership and directions of the Party Central Committee; promoting the implementation of Conclusion No. 247-KL/TU dated August 28, 2023 of the provincial Party Committee on a number of key tasks and solutions that need to be focused on from now until the end of the 19th term of the provincial Party Congress.

It is necessary to thoroughly grasp and widely deploy in the political system the provincial Party Committee’s Resolution No. 381-NQ/TU, dated December 6, 2024 on the leadership tasks for 2025, including urgent requirements on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system, making it operate efficiently and effectively, she said.

According to Thanh, Bac Giang must well prepare the conditions for successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, and building a socio-economic development plan for the 2026-2030 period, creating the best premise to join the whole country to enter a new era.

It should focus on carefully preparing the contents and conditions for organizing a conference to announce Resolution No. 1191/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units in Bac Giang province for the 2023-2025 period, consolidating the organizational structure of the new administrative units to make them "lean and strong", she added.

The province will accelerate the renovation, upgrading, and preparation of necessary facilities to meet the requirements of the tasks to ensure that the new apparatus can be put into operation from the first day of 2025, she noted.

Immediately after the plenum, the provincial People's Council requested the provincial People's Committee to urgently organize and implement the resolutions to ensure the order, procedures, and processes according to regulations; regularly monitor, urge, and inspect the implementation so that the resolutions can soon come into life.
