In the first six months, despite many difficulties and challenges, the provincial Party Committee and Party committees at all levels stayed united and delivered timely and flexible leadership and direction for comprehensive results in all fields.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Van Gau said that “In addition to the achieved results, we frankly acknowledged and assessed that there were still some tasks failing to meet expectations. Many problems and limitations were not removed promptly, hindering development”.

According to Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, the provincial People's Committee will focus on directing drastic measures to successfully complete the set goals, especially for economic growth. Priority will be given to arranging district-level administrative units and developing urban areas in Bac Giang province for the 2022-2025 period.

A project on rearranging district- and commune-level administrative units should be completed to submit to the competent authorities for approval in preparation for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Concluding the event, Nguyen Van Gau emphasised that in order to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, authorities at all levels, agencies and localities and their leaders as well as members of the provincial Party Committee need to make more efforts and stay determined, proactive, flexible and creative in leadership and direction.

“It is necessary to focus on firmly consolidating internal solidarity and unity. In leading and directing the performance of tasks, we need to ensure compliance with the Party's policies and guidelines, State laws, and working regulations,” he said.

Regarding socio-economic development, he stressed the need to focus on reviewing the progress of implementing targets and tasks; clearly assign tasks and implementers; promptly propose the issuance of new mechanisms and policies to create motivation for development.

It is necessary to continue to promote administrative reform, improve the business and investment environment, and raise the provincial competitiveness index; strengthen the responsibility of the leader; closely follow the directions and guidance of central agencies to submit to the Government for approving adjustments to the provincial Master Plan and the project on arranging administrative units, he added.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee affirmed that the important immediate task is that Party committees at all levels must urgently direct the development of plans to organise Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and establish subcommittees serving the organisation.
