The delegates spent a lot of time assessing the socio-economic situation in 2024. The industrial production is the main driving force for economic growth. 15 out of 18 main targets were completed and exceeded the plan. The province focuses on improving the investment and business environment and developing enterprises.

The investment attraction achieved good results. In terms of attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), Bac Giang ranked 9th in the country.

The quality of education has been improved, with key education achieving outstanding results, the highest since the province was re-established. All 5 Bac Giang students participating in regional and international competitions won prizes.

The quality of medical examination, treatment and health care for people has been improved at all levels. The policy of rearranging administrative units has been implemented synchronously and resolutely by all levels and sectors.

Through discussion, delegates pointed out a number of limitations in the past time. Concluding this content, Acting Chairman Mai Son emphasized that from now until the end of the year, all sectors, units and localities need to focus on synchronously implementing solutions to complete the socio-economic development targets in 2024 at highest level, implementing and disbursing public investment capital and national target programs.

All must concentrate on implementing Resolution No. 1191/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in Bac Giang province for the 2023-2025 period.
