The Executive Committee and Standing Board of the Party Committee of Yen Dung district have concentrated on leadership and direction to implement the political tasks and gained positive results.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau chairs the meeting.

To date, the district has achieved and exceeded all of the 16 targets set in the resolution of the district Party Congress for 2024.

Besides, the Standing Board of the district Party Committee and the Standing Board of Bac Giang Municipal Party Committee have issued a collaboration programme to gain consensus on the contents related to administrative unit arrangement, merging and handover.

After grasping public opinions, it was reported that officials, party members and people agreed to implement the administrative arrangement plan.

The participants also discussed some issues such as post-merging personnel arrangement, plan to allocate headquarters and dealing with obstacles related to some key projects.

In response to the recommendations of Yen Dung district, Acting Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son agreed to prioritize construction of technical and social infrastructure for development of the urban space and ensuring more convenient connection between the existing space of Bac Giang city and the expanded areas in Yen Dung district.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau urged Yen Dung district to focus on 3 major tasks. Firstly, the district needs to continue implementing the regular tasks according to the 2024 plan.

Secondly, it is essential to pay very high attention to removing obstacles to accelerate the project progress of building Dong Viet bridge and the path to the bridge.

Thirdly, the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Yen Dung district should highly concentrate on the leadership and direction to fulfill the tasks related to merging administrative units.

In addition, it is necessary to adhere to the direction of the Party Executive Committee of the provincial People’s Committee and the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission to work out plan on personnel arrangement in collaboration with the Party Committee of Bac Giang city ensuring consensus.

PM directs flood prevention and control in association with production recovery in Bac Giang
