The district basically achieved and exceeded 12 out of 15 targets set by the District Party Congress. The District Party Committee issued a plan to organize Party Congresses at all levels in the District Party Committee for 2025-2030 term; established subcommittees and support groups and developed outlines for reports.

The district requested the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and investors to shorten the time and procedures to soon start construction of Thanh Son Industrial Cluster while introduce more businesses to invest in the district, especially in the fields of deep processing of forest products for export.

Concluding the meeting, the provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged, highly appreciated and congratulated the achievements that the Party Committee and people of Son Dong district have achieved in the past time.

He requested the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to focus on reviewing the criteria and targets of the district Party Congress that are still low or not achieved; analyze and clarify the objective and subjective causes so as to promptly propose solutions to complete at the highest level.

From the existing potential and advantages, Son Dong needs to pay attention to developing agriculture, forestry, services and ecological spiritual tourism. In particular, the locality should promote the development of forest economy, especially medicinal plants under the forest canopy so that people have a stable income, are attached to and protect the forest.

Along with economic development, the district was urged to synchronously developing cultural and social fields; improving the quality of primary health care, education and training while effectively implementing social security policies, supporting ethnic minorities in economic development associated with the implementation of new rural construction goals.

From now until the District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, there are many challenges and heavy tasks. The provincial leader believed that the Party Committee, government and people of Son Dong district will unite to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the targets and tasks.
