Updated: 17:52, 11/09/2024

BAC GIANG - Recently, the Employment Service Center of Bac Giang province has increased online transaction sessions. This is an important and suitable solution to support and facilitate job connection for job seekers and businesses with recruitment needs.

Nong Van Binh (born in 2001) in Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province found a suitable job through a recent online job fair.

In an online interview, he was quickly asked by the company to submit his application. After that, he completed the procedures and got a job at a company operating in Van Trung Industrial Park.

Staff of the Provincial Employment Service Center supports workers to connect online to find jobs at the online job fair.

"Through the online session, I was supported to quickly connect with the recruitment department staff of a company hundreds of kilometers away from home. This helps me save time and money in finding a job while also assist me know information and choose a suitable job with a good income," Binh shared.

Recognizing the outstanding advantages of this form of job connection, in recent years, the Provincial Employment Service Center has prioritized to organize online transaction sessions.

Since the beginning of the year, the unit has organized 61 sessions; including 36 regular sessions, 2 thematic sessions, 9 mobile sessions and 14 online sessions. Not only connecting with businesses in the province, the Center has expanded online transaction sessions to distant provinces to increase job opportunities for workers.

A recent session connecting with 15 provinces and cities, including Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Son La, Hoa Binh, brought more than 53,000 vacant jobs from hundreds of participating enterprises. This offered a great opportunity for employees to choose a job that suits their age, qualifications, income level and good benefits.

In order to facilitate employees to find information and choose suitable jobs, before organizing the session, the electronic portal of the Employment Service Center of the provinces and cities are fully posted the recruitment conditions and standards, salary, bonus, and welfare regime of each enterprise.

In addition, the Provincial Employment Service Center prioritizes the expenses to renovate the infrastructure, arranges adequate equipment and focuses on applying information technology to serve online sessions while coordinates with provinces and cities to review, prepare and assign staff to provide thoughtful support at the connection points.

In 2024, enterprises in the province will need to recruit more than 100,000 employees, mainly unskilled workers in the electronics and garment industries and about 90,000 workers per year on average during the period of 2025-2030.

Employee participates in online interviews with representative of recruiting company.

According to Nguyen Xuan Son, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, the demand is high but the supply is increasingly scarce.

To effectively connect supply and demand and provide maximum support for enterprises in recruiting human resources, the Center continues to innovate job fairs. In particular, online sessions will be increased to connect with remote areas - where workers have difficulty in accessing information and there are abundant human resources.

At the same time, the Center gathers information about the labor market from many sources such as those registering for unemployment benefits, looking for jobs on the electronic portal, directly at the center or participating at the connection points.

Such efforts help build a data system to serve the work of forecasting and stabilizing the labor market.
