Bac Giang painter wins C prize at Northwest - Viet Bac Region 3 Fine Arts Exhibition
BAC GIANG - Son La Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Fine Arts Association to organize the 29th Northwest - Viet Bac Region 3 Fine Arts Exhibition from November 1 to 5, 2024.
The exhibition displays 213 art works by 206 artists from the provinces of Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Kan and Son La, including 25 works by 23 artists from Bac Giang province.

The works use materials such as lacquer, oil painting, wood carving, ceramics, bronze hammering, aluminum hammering, acrylic, silver-plated alloy... to vividly reflect the good traditional cultural values, socio-economic achievements of the homeland and country, strongly express the culture of the Northwest and Viet Bac mountainous regions.
The Organizing Committee awarded one A prize, one B prize, one C prize and 8 Encouragement prizes.
Painter Luu The Han, a member of the Bac Giang Province Literature and Arts Association, was awarded the C prize with his oil painting "Bac Son Afternoon".
Three young painters of Bac Giang Province, Luu Van Luong with his work titled Afternoon, Hoang Nguyen Thach with his work named Homeland River and Ha Tuan with his work Highland Market Corner were selected to participate in the Award of the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
BAC GIANG – To mark the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Provincial Museum in Bac Giang province organized a special exhibition themed "Phu Lang Thuong - Historical journey in the resistance war against France".
An exhibition themed “The Geneva Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities in Vietnam – A Historic Milestone of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Diplomacy” opened at the Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi on July 15.
BAC GIANG - The project to build the Cultural and Exhibition Center of Bac Giang province started on December 24, 2022 in Dinh Ke ward and Dinh Tri commune (Bac Giang city). It has a total construction area of more than 13,200 square meters, total investment of more than 540.7 billion VND (22.9 million USD) from the provincial budget. The consortium contractor expects to complete the entire project and hand it over to the investor in August 2024 as schedule.
BAC GIANG – The Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition of Food & Beverages 2024 (HCMC Foodex 2024) was jointly held on May 15 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (Ho Chi Minh City) by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center and the Food and Foodstuff Association.
An interactive panorama exhibition hosted by Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (1954-2024) welcomed nearly 30,000 visitors in the past week.
BAC GIANG- The Bac Giang provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST) opened an exhibition at the provincial Museum on April 22 to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (7 May 1954-2024).
