Bac Giang’s highest Tet bonus to labour hits 185 million VND
BAC GIANG - The highest bonus for the Lunar New Year 2025 is 185 million VND (7,780 USD) given to employee at a foreign-invested enterprise in industrial parks in Bac Giang province, reported the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA). This is the bonus level for Vietnamese labour with outstanding achievements.
Thus, up to this point, based on the Lunar New Year bonus plan of 320 enterprises sent to the DOLISA, the average bonus reaches 7.05 million VND per person, an increase of 5.5% compared to the average bonus in 2024.

Of which, 5 enterprises have an average bonus of less than 1 million VND per person; 5 enterprises have bonus from 1 to less than 1.5 million VND per person; 89 enterprises give bonus from 1.5 to less than 5 million VND per person; 169 enterprises give bonus from 5 to less than 10 million VND per person; 52 enterprises give bonus from 10 million VND per person or more.
Among 199 enterprises with plans to pay New Year bonus, the highest rate belongs to enterprises in the private sector with the amount of more than 52.2 million VND per person while the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND per person.
Also according to the report of 346 enterprises employing more than 269,700 laborers (equivalent to about 83% of laborers working in enterprises in the province), the average salary in 2024 is nearly 8.5 million VND per person per month, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2023.
The highest salary is 170 million VND per person per month in foreign-invested enterprises. So far, no unit has been reported of wage owing to employees.
