The Bac Giang Scientists Association in Hanoi was established in 2013 to connect scientific researchers from Bac Giang who are living and working in Hanoi so as to create a forum for exchanging and sharing information, honoring and promoting the contributions of scientists in all fields; caring, encouraging and helping each other in life and work.

From 34 initial members, the Association now has 266 members, including 26 Professors, 60 Associate Professors, 120 PhDs, many leading scientists, experts, and intellectuals working in many fields like economics, politics, education and training, medicine, national defense - security, science and technology, finance - banking, auditing, architecture, literature and art, production, business and intellectuals working in management, National Assembly deputies and leaders in various sectors.

Since its establishment, the Association has made many practical contributions to the homeland such as participating in consulting and commenting on the Project to supplement and complete the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the province to 2020 and vision to 2030; consulting and commenting on economic restructuring associated with transforming the growth model to improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the province to 2020, vision to 2030; building a strategy to develop the intellectual team of Bac Giang to 2020, vision to 2030...

Speaking at the event, Acting PPC Chairman Mai Son congratulated the Association for recent outstanding achievements and briefed on the province's socio-economic situation.

Currently, the province is developing a Resolution that regulates a number of policies to attract and support human resource training in Bac Giang province during 2025-2030 period.

The beneficiaries of attraction and support policies are Vietnamese citizens with the academic titles of professor, associate professor; doctoral and master's degrees with majors or training majors suitable to the professional requirements of the job position.

Bac Giang province has focused on attracting investment and developing the semiconductor and electronics industry, therefore the province is looking forward to connecting and cooperating with the Bac Giang Association of Scientists in Hanoi in this field.

The provincial leader always listens to and appreciates those contributions and dedications and at the same time creates conditions for scientists to have more activities to help their homeland.

On this occasion, Acting PPC Chairman Mai Son and Prof. Dr. Duong Xuan Ngoc presented flowers and insignia to honor 10 outstanding scientists who have made many contributions to the Association's activities and professional work.
