Accordingly, the Rural Development Center ( Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development) will create profile and successfully register the certified brand of Lang Giang pineapple for the local pineapple during 24 months with total cost of 750 million VND (over 32,000 USD) from provincial budget.

The district has 330 ha of pineapple mostly in the communes of Huong Son, Huong Lac, Tan Hung, Tan Thanh, Tien Luc and others.

Thanks to recent good cultivation technique, local farmers earn about 300 million VND per ha per year from pineapple.

(BGO) - The favorable weather condition this year helps lychee have high flowering and fruit bearing rate in Bac Giang province particularly over 95 percent for early ripening lychee and 75 percent for main lychee season (3-5 percent higher than the figure last year), reported the provincial Plant Production and Protection Division.

Expectation of a fruitful lychee season in Bac Giang
