BAC GIANG - Bac Hoa hamlet in Tan Son commune, Luc Ngan district is a relatively new destination on the “tourist map” of Bac Giang province. This place impresses visitors with its rammed earth houses located close together, surrounded by lychee hills and green rice fields.
Bac Hoa hamlet has nearly 160 households with more than 700 people, mainly Nung ethnic people. |
The hamlet has 17 households that still preserve the traditional houses with earthen walls and ancient yin-yang tiled roofs. |
Local households live scatteredly on the hillsides. They rely on agriculture farming, mostly growing fruit trees, rice and short-term vegetables. |

The inter-village road to Bac Hoa hamlet is concreted, making it quite convenient for tourists to explore. However, this locality has not yet developed services for tourists such as food and accommodation. |
According to the Bac Giang Provincial Tourism Information and Promotion Center, at the end of 2023, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee included Bac Hoa hamlet in the planning for community tourism development. The local tourism industry will invest in the infrastructure of the ancient house area and some items such as toilets, support households to provide tourism services. |
