Bac Giang City focuses on site clearance for key projects
BAC GIANG – Site compensation and clearance work has great significance, affecting the project progress. To ensure the goals of infrastructure development set for 2025, the Party Committee and the government of Bac Giang city continue to focus on leading and directing agencies, units, wards and communes to well communicate, hold dialogue and create consensus among people.
This year, land compensation and site clearance continue to be a key task of Bac Giang city with 41 projects with a total land area to be recovered of nearly 640 hectares, including 18 transitional and 23 newly implemented projects. Most of them are on social infrastructure, residential areas, urban areas and traffic roads among others.

To implement the task, since the beginning of the year, the City People's Committee has developed a specific plan with the motto of 3 clear principles: "clear responsible person, clear work, clear completion time" for each.
To prevent any loss for people during the compensation process, the City People's Committee directed specialized agencies to step up propaganda on the State's mechanisms and policies. When carrying out land recovery, it is necessary to ensure the accuracy of records according to procedures and regulations of the law.
The local authority also regularly follows the grassroots, grasps the aspirations of the people to have appropriate propaganda and dialogue plans.
The City People's Committee establishes working groups for site clearance under the direct charge of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee, periodically organizes weekly reviews to accelerate the progress.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee directly arrange time to inspect at the grassroots level to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles as well as participate in dialogues with households.
According to the leaders of the City People's Committee, from now until the end of the year, the city will continue to focus on implementing propaganda and mobilization solutions; promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members in this work.
At the same time, they increase meetings and direct dialogues with those who are still concerned and do not agree to find solutions, striving to complete the task of site clearance for projects, helping create momentum for the development of a spacious and modern Bac Giang urban area.
With a record-high investment budget of nearly 90 trillion VND (3.54 billion USD) for 2025, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) is intensifying efforts to ensure effective fund allocation and disbursement.
BAC GIANG – Since the first month of 2025, Bac Giang province has gained positive result in investment attraction.
The Prime Minister has issued Decision No 232/QD-TTg to approve a project on the establishment and development of Vietnam’s carbon market.
PM Pham Minh Chinh asked Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces to mobilise the entire political system for effective site clearance, ensure an adequate supply of materials for the projects, and engage mass organisations and the police and military forces in supporting the contractors in the construction sites.
Visiting the Long Thanh International Airport project in Dong Nai province for the sixth time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that work on its key components was continuing, even during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.
