More than 121,700 union members benefit from welfare program
BAC GIANG - Implementing the "Welfare Program for Union Members and Laborers", in 2024, the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor signed 10 cooperation agreements with units and enterprises to provide products, goods and services to union members at preferential prices.
As the results, more than 121,700 union members and workers were able to use products and services at preferential prices with benefit value of nearly 7.4 billion VND (311,839 USD).

In addition, the partners gave thousands of gifts to workers with a total value of 1.5 billion VND.
Based on the cooperation agreements, the Provincial Federation of Labor has coordinated with partners to deploy 3 models of "Union Stores in Enterprises" at 3 companies: LGG Bac Giang Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company (Lang Giang); Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park) and Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company (Hiep Hoa).
Realizing the goal of "Ensuring better rights and welfare", since 2017, the labor sector in Bac Giang has signed cooperation agreement to implement the "Welfare program for union members and laborers".
Up to now, the Provincial Federation of Labor has signed agreements with 38 units and enterprises. Accordingly, the enterprises commit to providing products, goods and services to union members at preferential prices, 5 - 30% lower than market prices.
BAC GIANG - Following the 2024 work theme "Each grassroots trade union - a member benefit", trade unions at all levels in Bac Giang province have promoted their role in caring for and protecting the rights and interests of members and employees. The practical, specific activities towards members with difficulties, motivating and encouraging them to be enthusiastic in production have left impressions on workers.
