Provincial Journalists’ Association of Bac Giang and Phetchabun (Thailand) enhance friendly exchange and cooperation
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association and the Thai journalist delegation on March 17, 2025 held a meeting to exchange and discuss activities to mark the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Provincial Journalists’ Association of Bac Giang province and Phetchabun province (Thailand) (March 24, 2015 - 2025) in Bac Giang city.
Addressing the event, Trinh Van Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper - Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association expressed his joy at welcoming Thai colleagues in his homeland Bac Giang. He sent his greetings and best wishes to the members of the delegation.

On March 24, 2015, the Provincial Journalists’ Association of Bac Giang and Phetchabun provinces signed a MoU in Bac Giang province.

Since then, the two sides have organized many friendly exchange activities, leaving good impressions, achieving the purpose of the memorandum that is to create a close, understanding and friendly relationship.

The leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association and the Phetchabun Provincial Journalists’ Association, together with the Thai press agencies, have continuously fostered the relationship to make it increasingly strong and effective.

There were 5 delegations from the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association and 5 delegations from the Phetchabun Provincial Journalists’ Association visiting, exchanging and learning about each other, which helped journalists from both sides have the opportunity to understand, introduce and promote the socio-economic, cultural and tourism achievements of the two countries in the publications.

That also contributed to better mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and Thai people.
On behalf of the delegation members, Founding Chairman of Phetchabun Provincial Journalists’ Association Banhan Bunkhet thanked the leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association and the delegates from Bac Giang province for their warm and thoughtful welcome. The Thai delegation had the opportunity to learn about local culture and tourism.

He also thanked the connection and continuous maintenance of the good relationship between the two sides by generations of leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists’ Association over the past 10 years.
On this occasion, he invited the delegation from the Bac Giang provincial Journalists’ Association to visit the Northeast of Thailand next year, especially to visit Udon province - where President Ho Chi Minh once spent time doing revolutionary activities.
