Truc Bach Night takes visitors back to pre-Doi Moi period
A night tourism programme entitled “Truc Bach Night”, to be held over the weekend, will give visitors the experience of Hanoi in the past during the pre-Doi Moi period.
Taking place from November 29 to December 1, the pedestrian street of Truc Bach in Ba Dinh District will become a space of culture, arts and other experiences.
The programme will provide visitors with an experience of Hanoi in the past. |
They include visiting several places of interest around the area and participating in an experience workshop with the theme of ration stamps and display booths with pre-Doi Moi items.
A highlight of the programme is the re-creation of Hanoi’s tram with four carriages, each displaying a specific food topic of Hanoi and Vietnam.
The carriages will become a mini-museum, allowing visitors to learn about the history and culture of Hanoi in the past.
In addition, there will be a re-enactment of a wedding in the pre-Doi Moi period, as well as music and arts programmes for the community.
