Women's national football team affirms top position in Southeast Asia
The Vietnam women’s national football team continue to assert their position as the No.1 team in Southeast Asia, ranking 37th in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
The team gained 1,614.43 points and sustained 37th position globally, marking no change against the previous ranking.

In Southeast Asia, Thailand has dropped two spots to 47th place after consecutive losses at Pink Ladies Cup 2025.
Meanwhile, Indonesia climbed three spots globally to 94th, Singapore and Laos sat 139th and 107th in the region.
Elsewhere in Asia, Japan recorded a significant leap and made it into the top 5 strongest teams in the region; the other four teams include the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Australia, China, and the Republic of Korea.
On the global scale, the US remain at the top with 2,069.06 points, followed by Spain, Germany, and England.
The next FIFA rankings will be released on June 12.
