Bac Giang to promptly disburse public investment with priority for key projects
BAC GIANG- Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) of Bac Giang province on March 5 chaired the regular conference in February 2025.
According the report at the conference, the province continued to gain socio-economic results in February and the first 2 months of 2025. The organizational structure arrangement has been quickly implemented since early this year and completed on schedule as directed by the Central authorities.

Major production sectors secured good growth rates. Particularly, industrial production value increased by 26 percent against the same period. The spring crop production meets the schedule when livestock diseases have been controlled without dangerous epidemics.
The people’s living has been kept stable. Political security and social order and safety have been secured. The number of traffic accidents decreased.
At the conference, representatives of the departments and agencies raised some prominent issues including land clearance of the industrial parks and dramatic increase in power demand for industrial production.
Remarkably, the lychee growing area in the province has been maintained at over 29,700 hectares with high flowering rate, promising a bumper crop.
Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman Nguyen Viet Oanh acknowledged the efforts made by the departments, agencies and localities so far.
In coming time, he urged the departments, agencies and localities to stick to the plans and strive to achieve the growth target of 8 percent. He requested to remove “bottlenecks” in economic development. Besides, the provincial leader urged to speed up disbursement of public investment with priority for key projects.
He stressed it is necessary to accelerate investment in infrastructure of industrial parks to supplement industrial land fund. Investors should pay attention to wastewater treatment areas. It is essential to continue promoting investment attraction.
On the same day, the delegates voted on some important draft documents.
