2024 Culture-Tourism Week opens in Hoa Binh

On the evening of November 16, at the Hoa Binh City Square, Hoa Binh Province, a solemn ceremony was held to receive the Certificate of National Special Monument ranking for the archaeological site of Hang Xom Trai, Mai Da Lang Vanh and to open the 2024 Culture-Tourism Week of the province.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and representatives of leaders of central and local ministries, departments, branches and international guests, including delegates of leaders of departments and branches of the provinces: Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Son La, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with a large number of ethnic people in the province.

The ceremony features many special art performances.

The two special national relics of the Vanh stone roof (Yen Phu commune) and the Trai stone cave (Tan Lap commune) in Lac Son District, Hoa Binh Province, are typical representatives of the archaeological heritages, with historical and cultural values over thousands of years of the Muong culture of Hoa Binh.

The Culture and Tourism Week of Hoa Binh Province is taking place from November 15 to 23, including the Fishing Prayer Ceremony, releasing flower lanterns on the Da River, and the 2024 art photo exhibition with the theme “The Beauty of Culture and Tourism of Hoa Binh province”.

In addition to the ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking the special national relics of the Trai stone roof and the Vanh stone roof and the opening of the 2024 Hoa Binh Culture and Tourism Week, the Festival of performing costumes of ethnic groups in Hoa Binh Province, the Can wine festival, the Agricultural Forum with the theme: “Agricultural promotion associated with agricultural tourism, green growth and sustainable development” and the second Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival in 2024, among others.
