Representatives from the provincial Labour Federation and businesses sign cooperation agreements to implement welfare programmes for trade unionists.

The partners are the Bac Giang branch of the Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Bac Giang branch of Mobifone Service Company, Bac Giang VNPT Business Centre, FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company, Bac Giang Co.opmart Supermarket, Viet Phu Payment Services Support Joint Stock Company (Mobivi), and Ha Bac Food Joint Stock Company.

Under the agreements, trade union members, labourers and grassroots trade unions will enjoy discounts when using services and products of these businesses, such as union membership cards connected with Vietinbank, preferential services packages of Mobifone and VNPT, or deferred payment without interest rates within 3-6 months when purchasing goods using Mobivi payment services.

The Bac Giang Labour Federation pledged to cooperate with and create favourable conditions for the businesses to access trade unions and trade union members to promote their goods and services.

In addition, the parties will intensify coordination in organising social activities, especially those supporting labourers living in difficulty.

The agreements will be implemented from now until the end of 2019, as part of activities to respond to the Year for the Interests of Trade Unionists 2017, which aims to improve the material and spiritual lives of trade union members and labourers.
