Bac Giang promotes investment attraction from Chinese enterprises
BAC GIANG- The provincial Department of Industry and Trade and Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited jointly held a conference to promote trade and investment from China in Bac Giang province. The conference was attended by leaders of some related departments, agencies and businesses of Bac Giang province and the working delegation of Chongzuo city, China’s Guangxi province on November 19.
Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited is the owner of Bac Giang city International Logistic Center. This center is a key project of Bac Giang province, which was planned to become a level-2 national logistics center, acting as a bridge to connect to the border gates and major industrial parks in northern Vietnam as well as a “gateway” to link Vietnam with China and ASEAN.

At the conference, Chinese enterprises highly spoke on the investment climate in Bac Giang province, which has been in top localities in Vietnam in economic growth rate thanks to open and friendly policies for investors, leaving good impression on investors to seek investment opportunities in the locality.
Representative of the Department of Industry and Trade briefed on the targets in the master plan for the northern midland and mountainous region in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.
Accordingly, Bac Giang province was targeted to become an industrial, urban and service center in the region with industrial sector as the main driving force for growth, gradually establish a trade center and develop into an important economic hub in the northeast and a significant logistics center for trading and transshipment of goods.
After studying development strategy of the province, some participants shared their opinions on investment demand and trends while expressing their expectations to learn about policies for investment attraction, support and incentives, investment-related procedures in Vietnam, infrastructure issues, production facilities, especially logistics service in Bac Giang.

Representative of Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited said they would build a first-ever nontariff logistics center in Vietnam in Bac Giang province, creating competitive advantages to attract foreign investment to the locality.
This center will consist of 3 main service groups including infrastructure, solution group and service chains. Especially, it will provide one-stop shop services to facilitate businesses, which will help to simplify procedures, reduce time and cost for businesses. The first section of the project will come into operation in December 2024.
On the sideline of the conference, the delegates visited the Bac Giang city Logistics Center project in Song Khe commune, Bac Giang city.
