Roller Sports is the general name for roller skating sports. Recently, Roller Sports has developed strongly in provinces and cities with more than 100 clubs.

This year, the tournament took place at the My Dinh National Sports Center from August 17-20, attracting 200 athletes from 10 provinces and cities including: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Quy Nhon, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Ho Chi Minh City.

The athletes were divided into age groups, in which the youngest age group was under 5 years old. Rollers took part in 15 events in the competition for seniors and 24 for the juniors in speed, slalom and slide disciplines.

The Bac Giang delegation had 11 athletes participating in 29 championship events and age groups. Although it has been recently introduced to the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, thanks to the efforts of the coaching staff and athletes during the preparation and competition period, the Bac Giang athletes won 5 Gold Medals , 5 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals.

The gold winners included Huynh Trong An in the Senior F men's 1,500m and Senior A men's 10,000m; Nguyen Thanh An in the Senior men’s Classic Slalom over 15; Le Nguyen Minh Hieu in the Junior C men's 1,000m and Lam Ngoc Boi in the women’s Battle Slide.

With achievements much exceeding the set target, Bac Giang excellently won the second overall ranking after Ho Chi Minh City with 9 gold medals.
