Bac Giang strives for economic growth rate of over 14%
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of July 23, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee held a regular conference in July under the chair of Le Anh Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The report clearly stated that the socio-economic situation in July and the first 7 months of the year continued to achieve many positive results. Industrial production, import and export of goods and services grew well.

In the first 7 months of this year, industrial production value (current prices) is estimated at more than 387 trillion VND (16.4 billion USD), up 28.3% over the same period last year and equal to 58.2% of the year's plan.
Total domestic budget revenue reached more than 9,650 billion VND, an increase of more than 24% over the same period last year and equal to 67.2% of the year's estimate.
To date, 4 out of 15 revenues in Bac Giang have exceeded the assigned estimates; 13 out of 15 revenues have increased higher than the same period last year. Particularly, the land use fee collection hit more than 3,219 billion VND, up 35.4% over the same period last year.
The agricultural production ensured progress. People's lives are stable, political security and social order and safety are guaranteed...
Discussed at the conference, the delegates analyzed and clarified the achieved results and shortcomings.
Concluding the conference, the PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong emphasized that this year, the province strives for an economic growth rate of over 14%.
To achieve this goal, from now until the end of the year, all departments and branches, based on their functions and tasks, were directed to drastically, promptly and effectively implement key tasks and proposed solution as well as proactively support enterprises to promote production and business activities.
