Bac Ninh launches two free tours starting March 8

Bac Ninh Province offers two free tourist tours from today, March 8, allowing residents and visitors to explore traditional craft villages, historical and cultural landmarks, and renowned tourist attractions.

The initiative promotes local tourism while fostering national pride and cultural heritage appreciation.

According to the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, these free pilot tours will be conducted throughout 2025.

Tour 1 covers: Bac Ninh Museum – But Thap Pagoda – Dau Pagoda – Dong Ho Folk Painting Village – Do Temple – Nam Hong Royal Museum – Bac Ninh Museum.

Tour 2 covers: Bac Ninh Museum – Phat Tich Pagoda – Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum – Phu Lang Pottery Village – Nguyen Cao Temple – Dien Quang Pagoda – Bac Ninh Museum.

The tours will operate on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from March 8, 2025, to the end of June 2025. Daily departure is at 8:00 am and the tour concludes at 5:30 pm.

Luxury 45-seat buses will transport visitors, departing from Bac Ninh Museum (No.2 Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City). Funded by the provincial budget, each tour will have two buses daily.

The programme aims to enhance visitor experiences, promote Bac Ninh’s cultural and historical sites, and attract domestic and international tourists and investors. Additionally, the province plans to evaluate and improve tourism services and workforce quality.

Local authorities will also engage the community in maintaining security, environmental cleanliness, and fostering a safe, friendly, and high-quality tourism environment.
