Cambodian Front delegation visits Bac Giang province
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Le Thi Thu Hong briefed the delegates on natural conditions, advantages, potentials and outstanding results in socio-economic development and investment attraction of Bac Giang province.

Le Thi Thu Hong stressed, Bac Giang province is boosting economic cooperation activities with Cambodian partners. Particularly, the total import and export turnover of Bac Giang province with Cambodian market has been increasing year on year when several products of the province have been exported to Cambodia including garment and textile, plastic, chemical and metal products. Specially, Bac Giang’s lychee was exported to Cambodia with about 2,000 tonnes in 2020, 3,900 tonnes in 2021 and 3,200 tonnes in 2022. Besides, there are more rooms and prospects for trade cooperation between Bac Giang province and Cambodian partners in coming time.
Nhem Valy congratulated Bac Giang province for its rapid and robust development and expressed his delighted at the high results of investment attraction in the industrial parks of the province. Currently, Cambodia is also fostering industrial development; hence, many opportunities are opened up for cooperation and commercial exchanges among enterprises of both countries to increase import and export values.
On this occasion, Nhem Valy requested the leaders of Bac Giang province to create more favourable conditions for the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to join hands with VFFC to implement more activities to nurture, tighten and develop the cooperative ties with Cambodian partners.
