Ninh Kieu Wharf, located on Hai Ba Trung Road, Tan An Ward is one of the most famous tourist destinations of the Mekong Delta city.

A new feature of this year’s festival is the light show that combines storytelling with modern sound and light effects on water. The first part of the show will feature myths and folklore about the origin of the country. The second part will honor the beauty and cultural identity of Can Tho residents, while the last part will portray the dynamic and modern feel of a developing city.

In addition to its light effects, the show will also incorporate many traditional songs. The main stage will be located on the embankment of Khai Luong Canal, though visitors can watch the show from the pedestrian bridge. This activity will take place from 8-9 p.m. on both November 27 and 28.

Can Tho, considered the heart of Mekong Delta - Vietnam's rice basket, is well-known for its Cai Rang floating market, Ninh Kieu Wharf, picturesque rural canals, and abundant fruit gardens.
